Ford Crown Victoria Though they were what most people drove in the 1950s and 1960s, full-size cars like the Ford Crown Victoria are now an anomaly. But Ford's biggest sedan still offers significant virtues, including affordable V8 performance and room for six people. Today, the Crown Victoria's passenger and cargo volumes compare favorably against fashionable SUVs.

Default Blower Motor Resistor 2004

AC unit went wacky a month back, changing speeds and blowing out of different places. Finally kicked the bucket a couple of weeks ago. My sister works for Ford back in Calif. and she told me to take it in to any ac tech and they could troubleshoot it. Troubleshooter told me they needed a whole new AC controller ($699.00). Called sister and she said she could get one for $441.00. Five minutes later she called back and said her mechanic told her 99 times out of 100, it is the blower motor resistor. She sent me one, and the schematics. Problem is, she didn't tell me where this thing is located, and she's gone to Puerto Vallarta for 10 days. Any ideas on where this thing is and how to get to it and fix it? Thanks

Its in the evaporator case behind the heater hoses where they attach to the block(passenger rear side of the engine compartment)I agree with it being the resistor.
