Ford Crown Victoria Though they were what most people drove in the 1950s and 1960s, full-size cars like the Ford Crown Victoria are now an anomaly. But Ford's biggest sedan still offers significant virtues, including affordable V8 performance and room for six people. Today, the Crown Victoria's passenger and cargo volumes compare favorably against fashionable SUVs.

Will all the plugs go in and will the computer run the 2000 motor as is? Will I need to change anything on new motor? The new motor is complete from throttle body to oil pan and fly-wheel.Thanks for the help.

Is your car a CVPI and is the motor from a CVPI (cop car).If 1 or the other is a police motor you have to change the trans flex plate (were convertor bolts to motor.Different convertor for CVPI .Other then that its a direct bolt in.The alternator for each 1 is also different in mounting points(bigger alternator on a CVPI/different mounting bracket. The oil filter mounting bracket is also different in that the CVPI engine has an exterier oil cooler lines from it.Thats all the differences i can think of. If you have any broken exhaust manifold (manifold to cylinder head) bolts change them now because they are a pain in the ass to change them later.
