1989 crown victoria passenger power window does not go up and down
Ford Crown VictoriaThough they were what most people drove in the 1950s and 1960s, full-size cars like the Ford Crown Victoria are now an anomaly. But Ford's biggest sedan still offers significant virtues, including affordable V8 performance and room for six people. 1989 crown victoria passenger power window does not go up and down
Hi there,
i have a ford 1989 crown victoria LTD LX
My power window seemed to chatter up and down so i removed the door skin and tried to see if something was wrong.
I left the skin off for a while... i was going to look again when i had some time,... (abour 2 weeks) when i looked at it again it would not move up or down more than half way unless i pushed on the lifting mechanism with my hand.
Any ideas what this might be? the motor seems to be working fine... it clicks some times as if the motor is slipping... but im not a mechanic so im not sure...
i am out of ideas...
any help would be great!! thanks!!
