Ford Crown Victoria Though they were what most people drove in the 1950s and 1960s, full-size cars like the Ford Crown Victoria are now an anomaly. But Ford's biggest sedan still offers significant virtues, including affordable V8 performance and room for six people. Today, the Crown Victoria's passenger and cargo volumes compare favorably against fashionable SUVs.

Cool performance and body mods for 97 P71

Hey, am looking for any one that knows of a body kit or just a better front bumper cover for a 97 crown vic Police Interceptor. Also, anyone know if there is any major difference between the 4.6 in this car and the one in a Mustang
(will ford racing parts for a mustang 4.6 work?) I would like to get a little more from the engine than it currently puts out.

alot of times making parts works, the engines from the vic and the stang are the same. alot of people have their doubts, but my 95 grand marquis has been dynoed at 396 rwp and 485 ft lbs of tourque and pretty much every part was made stricktly for that car. I also went to www.galls.com and bought a go rhino push gaurd, its easy to put on, fairly cheap and ads a tough look to the nose

I have been told that the motor in the GT has three valves per cylinder while the Crown Vic has but two valves per cylinder.
