Ford Crown Victoria Though they were what most people drove in the 1950s and 1960s, full-size cars like the Ford Crown Victoria are now an anomaly. But Ford's biggest sedan still offers significant virtues, including affordable V8 performance and room for six people. Today, the Crown Victoria's passenger and cargo volumes compare favorably against fashionable SUVs.

are you saying there is a difference, then? i used to have a 2000 F150 with the 4.6, and i heard the only difference between the 4.6's are the cams that give torque or hp in different parts of the power band, and the whole point of the "modular" motor is to be able to swap parts around from one model to the other. does anyone know if there is any truth to that?

There is no difference between any 4.6 2v engine except npi and pi heads. You can put short tube headers on 2002 older vics only and bolt up .Long tubes have too be custom made to fit.2003 and newer vics have headers available from KOOKS.There are cams differences but only NPI and PI cams.

what? if it is factory, why would they need to run 93 octane? that doesnt make sense to me...

unless you are saying that because they will need a chip to adjust the computer for the new head/intake combo...

By putting PI heads with PI CAMS and intake you are bumping the compression of the NPI block to 10 1/2 from 9 1/2 causing ping (engine knock) if you use any other gas but 93 .
