Ford Crown Victoria Though they were what most people drove in the 1950s and 1960s, full-size cars like the Ford Crown Victoria are now an anomaly. But Ford's biggest sedan still offers significant virtues, including affordable V8 performance and room for six people. Today, the Crown Victoria's passenger and cargo volumes compare favorably against fashionable SUVs.

you don't.. it's oxidation of the material...

just replace them.. try a boneyard.. lots of times they have cheap, Chinese crash parts for tons less than the dealer if you don't mind supporting an oppressive government that has a weak civil rights record...

That's not caused by oxidation. That's from abrasive material coliding with the plastic from driving, also from heat and UV exposure. The vehicles that had this the worst were by far the '87 and '88 ford pick ups. you probably have a '92 or '93 crown vic. Alot of these cars are like that.. If you want I could try to find you a nicer set. I work for a salvage yard, one of the biggest in wisconsin and we have over 7000 cars. Ifyou are insterested in any parts, feel free to contact me.

Default definatelly

the lens is glued on, you have to take out the whole capsule. there are 3 or 4 bolts on the back that hold it into a fiberglass header panel. The light bar you meantioned is called the 'tail panel'. and I'll try to locate one for you. It would be helpful if you emailed me, (superhuer@yahoo.com ) because then it doesn't look like i'm surfing the web while I'm working.. lol.

i thought someone would have already figured out how to fix this besides me, RUB SOME COMPOUND ON THE HEADLIGHTS!!! most of the time, it's from abrasive material(like the other guy said) hitting the headlights, so compound clears it right up-if its FOGGED up on the inside, then i dunno how to help u there

I agree with 2001cvpi I usualy just buff the headlights out wih some good rubbing compound and a high speed buffer, watch the nibs on the head lights they can cause the buffer to kick back .you can also Try to wetsand the lights and the buff them out. They wont be like new but they would be better. Sometimes the haze is caused by u.v. rays from the sun
