Default 2002 Crown Vic Air/overheating problems
I have a 2002 Crown Vic. When it gets hot outside and I put on my air conditioner my car overheats, but not on the expressways, only on residental streets.

I've had my radiator flushed, hoses all changed, new belts put on, and the thermostat changed too.

Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this problem? When I run the air conditioner and it's only in the 70's degree outside, no overheating...only when it's 80 and above.

Thanks for any help.

Fans probably not kicking on, does it have the flat connector on the fan? check to see if it's burned up.also, check the fuse and relays.
