Ford Crown Victoria Though they were what most people drove in the 1950s and 1960s, full-size cars like the Ford Crown Victoria are now an anomaly. But Ford's biggest sedan still offers significant virtues, including affordable V8 performance and room for six people. Today, the Crown Victoria's passenger and cargo volumes compare favorably against fashionable SUVs.

Default 1998 ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor

Hey guys, I just bought a 1998 p71 police cruiser September 8th of this year. Its got 77 thousand miles, was an Ex detective unit, and runs and looks great. the cost was 3 thousand at a local police auction. I know the engine has dual exhaust and it is the police interceptor package. But I've been trying to modify it. So far I've put flow masters, white gauges, and some body work. I've also been searching for headers but cannot find any headers for my 1998 ford Crown Victoria p71 police interceptor. I hope someone on here can help me find headers that will fit in my car and maybe a link to a good chip for the engine. Thank you all for the help and support.

Heres a few pictures of the P71 (Tell me if you think I got a good deal or bad deal please.)

If anyone knows any links to a header kit, stroker kit, and chip kit for the engine please post it here. Also im looking for some Grille guards or "Push Bumpers" for the car so please post it here. Thanks for all the help fellas.

As far as i know headers that are a direct fit aren't available for the car. As much room as their is under the hood you should be able to make something fit. Or consider welding up your own pair. A stroker kit should be easy to come by, summit or jegs should have something for you, look for one for a ford 4.6. I don't know about a chip, look for a shop that does custom ECM flashing. Personally unless your running higher RPM (8,000+), boost, or nitrous it will be a waste of money. Patriot makes CNC heads, I'd reccomend investing in those first.

Car looks nice! Definetly worth it!

You got a ggod deal. We bought two Interceptors in Indiana for $6600 total. $3500 for one and $3100 for the other. I gave mine to my ex so my son will have a safe ride. The other we have with 205K miles on it now.
