Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Default 2003 E250 Cruise Control needed

I am looking for Cruise Control Kit (factory or aftermarket) for my van.
Anyone here know where I can get one?
Ford offers the kit but discontinued the harness needed for my 5.4L.

Thanks!

I thought it was EFI.
Do they make different models of the 5.4L gasoline engine?

Ford wants $400 for the kit and another $180 for the harness. $1300 installed (except the harness is discontinued)
They said I might be able to find a harness at a dealer somewhere outside California, as all the dealers here show them as sold out.
The typical aftermarket is by Audiovox and retails for $450. I have only heard bad things about them.

I hope to find the harness and install the factory kit myself.

That or put a brick on the gas pedal while driving the family cross country this summer...
