Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Default ABS System kicking in at Low Speed

I've got a 97 E150 Clubwagon. Wnen I'm parking or stuck in traffic going anywhere from 1-5 mph(very low speeds) the ABS will kick in randomnly. I've had the ABC computer replaced but that has not fixed the problem. ANy advice on what to look for? Thanks in advance for your help.

Most likely it is the ABS wheel speed sensors. Easy fix, maybe $40-$50 each... one at each wheel. Make sure to spin wheel after installation to make sure the sensor doesn't drag or scrape anything.

I agree the wheel sensors may be bad. Before I had issues with my ABS they would activate under low speeds and then the ABS went dead a few days later and then came back on.
