I test drove the 2005 E-350 12 passenger van and then ordered the 2006. After 6 weeks while sitting in the drive thru of Mc Donalds the rear a/c quit blowing cold. I took it in to the dealer I bought it and they thought they fixed it and returned it. They wouldnt give me the paperwork to show it was taken in though. It was in for 4 times. I went back months later undercover and got a print out but they must not have entered it in the system after the second time. Is that how ford gets around the 3 times you can file for the lemon law? Anyways I took it to 3 other dealers and they did the same thing. They wouldnt either look at the van after 2 times or give me any paperwork.
Ford say's that's how the van was made. What a huge 12 passenger van was made so the air wont blow cold at an idle. Give me a break. I have record of the van being in the shop 11 times and Ford wont fix it. I was even told by a customer service rep that they know the van is defective but Ford wont do anything untill someone dies, which just might happen this summer.
I have a child with Cystic Fibrosis and has a hard time breathing on his own, not to mention sitting in a hot van that is defective.
I started the papers for the Lemon Law and am going to take this as far and as long as it will take to get my van returned. My lawyers say that pain and suffering will be added for my cronicly illed son.
I cant believe ford!
If you know anyone with this type van or can help me join forces, I am a bulldog! e-mail me @
