Ford EconolineThere's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.
I just brought a 1987 E-series van for really cheap to use for transporting. After driving the van and it warms up when coming to a complete stop the van is fine but once i let go of the brake to get back on the gas the van dies but not all the time. Also when coming from a complete stop once i get on the gas it acts as if it doesnt want to move then it just jumps out. Does anyone know what this could be. Im going to do a full tune up on it a couple days but i just want to get a idea of what could be causing this Thanks.
