Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Default is it my solenoid or my starter?

I have a 2000 e450 van with a 7.3 liter diesel. I use for deliveries. For quite a while now 1-2 times a day when I go to start it, I can hear the solonoid that is mounted on the fender click but van wont start. I try a few more times and I will hear the solonoid click but no start. so eventually it starts or I just wait a minute or so and it starts. I cleaned my battery connections and the solenoid connections and started connections but it still does the same thing once or twice aday. never in the morning when I first start it though.
