Ford EconolineThere's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.
I have a 1997 350 econoline and if its cold it will start every time. But if I try to start when the engine is still warm it wont. It needs a minimum 2 hours cooldown for it to even have a chance of restarting. I can get it to start with starting fluid sprayed into the air intake. But it still takes a lot of cranking to get it started. Once its up and running it runs perfect, plenty of power and no rough idle. Can anyone tell me where to start?
thanks,
Jake
