Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Default Installing running boards
Hi, I'm about to mount a set of Ionic Gladiator running boards on my 2009 E-350.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice about this process. The instructions are ok, but I'm sure there are some tips which would help do it right without struggling.

Any advice on what to, or more importantly what not to do, would be much appreciated.

Probably because no one has actually installed a set since the '80s.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you find yours? I've been in the market for a set for my '99, but I haven't found any that looked solid enough.
