 Movie Star Econoline?
Guy I met today just bought an old (61-67) Econoline, I don't remember the exact year, but it's interesting in that it has Berkey Exerminating (or Exterminators) on the side, but the phone # is 555-xxxx, no area code. It also says "Established 1973". Since the 555 interchange is only used on TV and Movies, we were thinking it must have been in a Movie, TV Series, or an advertisement somewhere? It's painted battleship gray, and it does have the look of a van the Mission Impossible team would have used to sneak into a Russian Embassy. Seaching Google didn't bring up anything for Berkey exterminators, or exterminating. Anyone ever seen this truck? You can look at it and hear the MI theme playing in the background, and imagine the clock ticking as they try to smuggle the top secret stolen missle plans out the gate. |
