Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Whenever I see P0171 and P0174 together I think vacuum leak, not oxygen sensors. Vacuum leak could also cause your P0306.

When was the last time you did a full tune up ? Spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, PCV valve, hose and grommet. Any dried or cracked hoses should be replaced.

You can find a vacuum leak with a spray can of brake cleaner or any thing that is flammable. Spray around the intake manifold/throttle body/air intake hoses ect with the engine running. The idle will change when you're near the leak.

The IAT sensor might need to be changed. Look at the connector/wiring for corrosion bent pins ect. It should be located in the bottom half of the air filter assembly. It's a 2 wire sensor....Unscrew it by hand 1/4 turn.
