Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Default ScanGauge

Folks,

Does anyone know if the Scangauge will read the Transmission temp?

ScanGaugeII - Trip Computers + Digital Gauges + Scan Tool

The website says that it will do vehicle specific gauges but I don't know if Ford records that. I've got a '03 E150 w/4.6L.

Your vehicle PCM does read the trans fluid temp (TFT), Generally the more you pay the more it will cover.
I would call them for a list of all the items it will cover.

Wow, they're fast. Now how do I convince the wife that the van needs this? I am interested in this for when I tow my trailer so I can keep an eye on things.

"Chuck,

Yes, the ScanGauge II should monitor your 2003 Ford's transmission temperature. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank You,
