Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Default OEM Stereo Swap

I have a question about swapping in a new stereo. My parents have a '98 conversion van with the AM/FM Cassette stereo. I'd like to swap in a Mach CD/MP3 player from the '01-04 Rangers/Mustangs. Anybody know if this will fit? Any mounting issues, wire harness issues, etc? If not, anybody know of a good aftermarket cd/mp3 that will fit correctly and is easy to see/use for older folks?

Question

Did you ever find a solution by now? I also have a 1998 E350 but it only has a very basic factory AM/FM 4 speaker radio system. I would like to swap it with anything that will accept an audio input. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
