Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Default 1989 E350 Vacuum Guide

Hi.
I have an 89 E350 with a 5.8 Liter engine.

I bumped a vacuum line loose and can't find its proper location.

It starts at an electrical module mounted above and behind the battery.
It then travels back to the top center of the motor. It's about 3 feet long with a rubber elbow on the end.

Since accidently removing it, my van runs roughly at idle speed and blows a lot of black smoke from the exhaust.

Thanks

Default Map Sensor

I've figured out that the module where the line originates is the MAP Sensor.
Does anyone know where this line should lead?
Thanks

Goon,

Thank you.
I'm going to look again tomorrow.
I would assume that that is right on top of the center of the motor, right?

Thanks

Default Still Having Problems

I still can't find the spot.
Does anyone have any more advice on what I should look for?
Should I be looking from the passenger compartment?
Any advice would be appreicated.
Thanks
