Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Question 95 E-150 van, 138" cargo

Wow! I've found my home!
Hello all, newbie here but does this look like my kind of site! Ford AND vans? Someone's messing with me....
Anyhow, my dilema is this; I own a '95 E-150 cargo van, standard 138" wheelbase I believe (haven't checked the specs lately). So not an extended. I bent the front bumper in which bent the front rails of the frame. Can I remount the body onto a later model frame ('98 or newer) or must I use a '95? The frame is the only question. Other than front end damage (fenders, hood, bumper) the body from the doors/windshield back are fine & straight. Will the mounts of the body & hardware fit on a later model frame?
Thanks for any help in advance,
Max
