Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Default 2000 E250 5.4L ext. cargo

Hellllppppp... My van started misfiring a month ago. I have replaced 4 coils as the result of engine codes denoting bad coils. The problem went away for two days. Code nor diagnostics show error at this point. Engine light will briefly come on which seems to be during times of heaviest accelleration. I replaced all spark plugs while I was out of town and sought a "solution" rather than another inaqequate test. Van drove perfect for 700 miles. Got home took van to the same car wash that I have been to 100 times and van started back misfiring. At this point I would take this van to the dealer for a trade but I would be afraid I'd get simular problems with the new one.
