Gear selector light PRNDL on the steering column

Hi,

how do you replace the light bulb that illuminated the gear selector on the steering column? (The little P R N D 2 1 display ON the steering column)

On a GM, you just remove the little hood and light is right there. I tried that on the Ford (1991 Econoline 350) and I could not see the bulb.

Also, any ideas why there are 16,000+ articles on how to do this on a GM and yet there isn't even ONE {(1) [singular -- lack of any other]} article on the internet that addresses how to do this on a ford? (At least, google is incapable of producing one anyway.)
