| 89 E-250 Alternator issue? Has anyone else here replaced the alternator on an 89 E-250 or similar van? I cannot figure out how to get mine out! The alternator itself is now loose, not connected to anything, but there doesn't seem to be any way to manuever it out of there!
I should warn you all that there is a very good possibilty that I'm an idiot.
Thanks! |

| Not Fun... if it is a 4.9L inline 6, you will have to remove the A.I.R. pump just below the alternater, as well as the mounting bracket that holds both on. It's the only way I could get mine out. The other option was to remove the radiator assy... Good Luck. |
