Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Default 2000 E350 pulls left under braking, new caliper no help

Our 2000 Ford E-350 van with 51k miles is pulling to the left under braking. Pyrometer shows LF rotor 20 degs hotter than RF after only a few 30 mph hard stops. Replaced RF brake caliper, bled complete system, (fluid came out of new RF caliper “normally”) tightened front wheel bearings, nominal play in ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, checked bushings, etc. all to no avail. Replacing front brake hoses this morning. What else am I missing?

2 lines come out of the master cylinder and go to the ABS controller. It has 3 lines coming out which go to the LF, RF and rear. Is it possible there’s debris in the RF line blocking fluid or maybe even a bad ABS controller or sensor?

Thanks,
Jeff

I had the same problem with a 94 E350 17' it would pull right. I had the balljoints, tie rod ends and all bushings replaced and now that truck brakes as straight as an arrow. It wasnt cheap but it did the job.
