|  1990 Econoline 150 Starting issues
I've been using my van weekly for a few months since I bought it this summer. Today it wouldn't start. I just get a loud clicking and buzzing from the solenoid. I went out to Autozone and bought a new solenoid and I'm still getting the same thing. Just clicking and buzzing from the new one too. Already cleaned up the battery contact points. Not sure what to do next. I'm new to Fords. Any help? |

put a meter on the battery volts needs to be 12.7 or more and then try to start and see what the volts are if it falls down real low then it may be batt starter ac compressor loose connection | |

Try replacing the battery cables (the positive side in particular). Sometimes that's your culprit, plus it's cheap enough to replace. Never rule anything out, even those small things will go bad and cause big problems. | |
