Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Are you looking for a remanufactured head or one that has only been taken off another vehicle? Oreilly auto parts has a listing for a head for it, but no pricing or availability on it. Call your local Oreilly auto parts and have them check one of their parts specialist check on pricing and availability for you. It usually takes 24 hours to find out this information.

Another option is to have your local machine shop resurface and do a valve job to your head. Prices vary from area to area, but it should run you around $150 to have a valve job.

I had the head at the machine shop, however the valve seats were shot and the head could not be saved. Is there a source for remanuf heads with air injection? I sure need one or my van will not be able to pass smog here in SMOKEY southern Calif.

The head I found on oreillyauto.com had a specific note about having air injection.

Did your machine shop off to press in new seats?
