Ford Econoline There's more to the Econoline's staying power than Ford simply sticking with a product that has been the No. 1-selling full-size van since 1980. The Econoline has received only minor changes over the years. The result is a cargo van that looks different, but is still very much the same. For many E-Series customers, that is the best news of all.

Verify that fuel pump is giving you problems. Check the fuel pressure at idle and throttle.

you can only touch the throttle a little bit or it falls all over its self
i cant find a fuel filt nowhere on the van i am a mechanic but not a ford mech i got the van a month ago when my dad passed would like to drive it if i can get it to go
it has a good set of wires and newer plugs cap n rotor runs the same on front tank or rear tank

Follow the fuel line from the tanks to the filter - will be under - attached to the frame as stated above - you will need a special tool to remove the line from the filter and there are two different types of removal tools. Should be obvious which one just looking at the connector end.
