Ford Edge It seems that the days of the big boxy SUV might be numbered (at least temporarily). In the meantime, consumers are flocking to vehicles with SUV functionality and sedanlike handling characteristics. Ford's first attempt to hop aboard the "crossover utility vehicle" (CUV) bandwagon came in the form of the lackluster Freestyle.

Default Microsoft Sync

I have a 2008 Ford Edge with Microsoft Sync version 1.0. Is there any real concerns upon updating to version 1.1? Finally should I do it? Right now everything works fine, except when I tried today to use the USB port with a 2GB doggle with a few songs on it. My voice activation quit working. I had to reset to defaults. Seems like version 1.0 of sync doesn't like hands free voice activation cell phone and usb together ..hmmmm

I have 1.1 and I can't tell the difference. So update if you want but I don't think you will notice any changes. One thing a can't stand is that the backup sensors take priority to a phone call. The call mutes and all I hear is the beeping. Do you know if there is a way to change some settings so this will not happen?
