Ford Edge It seems that the days of the big boxy SUV might be numbered (at least temporarily). In the meantime, consumers are flocking to vehicles with SUV functionality and sedanlike handling characteristics. Ford's first attempt to hop aboard the "crossover utility vehicle" (CUV) bandwagon came in the form of the lackluster Freestyle.

Post Underseat Heat Ducts Ford Edge

Lately I hear an annoying noise under my front driver seat. I hear something move/roll when I drive my Edge (9000km). If I move quickly forward I hear it roll to the front and backup it rolls to the back. I have looked everywhere under the seat and can find nothing? Ford replaced the heater core a few months ago and i think it may be a part somehow got logged under the seat and now has come loose. It seems to be coming from the heat ducts under the driver's seat. I have tried everything to find it with no luck. Would appreciate any assistance anyone might have. Thanks Bob

Default Heat Duct Problem Solved

I solved my own problem. Bought a long flexible extension wand with a strong magnet on the end and inserted it into the underseat heat duct. No luck after countess tries. Then I taped it down to the heat duct and left it inserted, drove the car and made some sharp turns mostly right hand. Returned to my house and slowly pulled it out. It had the bolt attached to it :-) YAHOOOOOOOOOOOO
