Ford Escape The Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.

Default Wiring through the firwall

I want to install an amateur radio (ham radio) in my 2002 Escape. Does anyone know where is the best spot to feed the wiring through the firewall from the battery and into the area under the dash?

If it is an automatic trans escape just run the wire through the rubber cover where the clutch goes.

I always like to use the grommet around the steering column.
