Ford Escape The Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.

Thumbs up instrument cluster light burned out

Hi All,

I have a 2001 XLT 4x4 v6 and have read some posts regarding the bulb on the odomotor being burned out. Well it happen to mine. There was a post here specifing how to removing the bulb from the instrument cluster and it took me a whole 10 mintes to remove. However the problem was finding the actual replacement bulb. I went to AutoZone, Stauss, and some other auto stores close to me but could not locate it.

I went to my closest Ford Dealership and found the bulb. The part # is F8RZ-13B765-BA.
Ran me $8 for this bulb. (Talk about markup)
Had located this bulb online for $1.50 but 10 bucks in shipping.

Anyhow hope this info helps to those who are locating the part #.

See this forum thread:

It gives you a step by step process of changing the bulb. It's pretty easy.

Alo, I see part #'s listed for the Focus cluster bulbs. Question is can I order these bulbs in other colors (red/blue) and where. I've just recently started to mod my ZX3 and trying to figure out which bulbs to get...
