Ford Escape The Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.

Default 2002 Escape engine code p1451

The engine light came on in my 2002 Escape 2.0L. I scanned it and it was spitting out code p1451. Anyone had this code before? I googled p1451 but can't seem to find any info on my paticular tuck. From what I gather, it seems to be something to do with the EVP system.

Anyone have any tips on where to begin?

Thanks

Just search for OBD and P1451. You'll get lots of stuff.
