Ford Escape The Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.

Default 2004 Escape Wiring Problem

We installed a wiring kit on our 2004 Escape. The lights on the trailer will light up - but there are no turning signals or brake light. What is the problem? Thanks.

did you get the right kit, because it should be ground controlled not power controled. If so look at all fuses can not remeber if there are fuses under the hood

I have the same problem with my 06. Spent all afternoon tearing apart the truck to find out where the bad wiring was. I see that some people in this forum said that you need a "flasher" part number 5l8j-13a576-ab. Has anyone tried this to solve the problem?
