Ford EscapeThe Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.
i just installed an oem hitch on my escape,no problem. installed wiring kit that came with hitch and only have taillights.(wiring harness plugs in behind drivers side rear panel) i was told by the dealer this would work-it does not. i have read that you need to buy a new flasher from dealer but that it is expensive.i have found 2 different part #'s for this. one is 5l8z-15a416-aa and the other is 5l8j-13a576-ab. is there a difference, will this solve my problem and where do i locate this flasher in the truck. any help greatly appreciated.. thanks
