I did a search, and can't believe I didn't come up with anything.
I just bought an '06 Escape to replace my '00 Explorer. In the first 5 seconds I had it, I realized that I got spoiled with the Explorer's keypad entry feature.
I have seen a stick-on version of an entry keypad offered for the Escape... Does anybody have any experience with these after-market add-ons units? I believe they are genuine Ford parts, but I have no idea how they work. My Explorer had a master code written on the door control module (under the left rear cargo area access panel). Will the Escape be similar - even though it didn't originally come with a door keypad?
