Ford EscapeThe Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.
Has anyone found a good fitting / good looking / bug shield for their Escape? I'm looking at the Lund products but am interested in others out there. Thanks
I just got a genuine Ford low-profile shield for my '06 Escape on eBay. I paid just under $50 for it. It fits great, looks great, and you can just barely see the edge of it from the driver's seat. Shorter people, like my wife, can't see it at all when driving.
Hi, I had a genuine Ford bug shield for my '08 Escape and it was installed by Markville Ford dealership. It did not fit right and it made a crack on the right headlight causing humidity on it. Markville Ford has replaced this right headlight but it seems that they could not properly fix bug shield installation since the fixing nuts are still hitting the headlights (shown by rust on the upper part of the headlight). Luckily this does not cause any crack yet. So, can anybody advise me what to do since I don't trust this dealership who claims quality service.
