Recently, I have been having problems starting my engine when my 2005 Ford Escape has been sitting cold for a while (more than 4 hours).
When I turn the key, I hear the engine starting to rev up for about 2 seconds and then it it stops. I continue to hold the key in the ignition position and then the engine starts to rev up again and finally starts.
Do anyone know why this is happening? Should I be concerned? Any suggestions on what to do to fix it?
