|  Broken latch
Has anyone had this or a similar problem? Earlier this week my rear door and glass quit opening for me. I brought my vehicle (2002 Escape) to the dealership yesterday (warranty has expired) and they said my latch was broken and I'm having to order a new one. Thanks.

I have a 2004 and the glass would not latch the other day. I worked with it and was finally able to get it close. I am sure it is on its way to breaking, but we will pray it doesn't. I can see how this might be a problem for Ford if too many of these latches break.
