Ford EscapeThe Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.
Take full advantage of your SUV, maybe you don't need to do the winter/summer tire swaps anymore.
I've been using all terrain tires and I'm much more confident in them for all year driving than the old highway all seasons. I think you should look around for yourself and decide but I'm going to get a full set of Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor tires. The Fortera Triple Tred looks quite good too, I like the unidirectional look but it doesn't look as aggressive as the Wrangler.
Yes, and I think that is a good law for Quebec ! I would like to see it go "coast-to-coast" up there.
I have seen (admittedly, not the most scientific) test results comparing AWD/4WD vehicles with "All Season" or "Mud & Sow" tires versus similar vehicles with true "Winter" tires. Stopping distances and maneuvering on snow and hard pack were much better with Winter tires.

You would be wasting money changing the rims, leave the stock rims the way they are, if your intention is to have smaller circumference tires then just purchase tires with a smaller sidewall height, if your just looking for best performance in snow covered roads, then a smaller circumference tire isnt going to help its just going to throw off your speedometer. I recommend going to a narrower tire it will give you better snow performance and will not affect your speedometer.
