The ABS on our 2001 AWD Escape is not working properly. Dealer said that the Left Rear Half Shaft Tone Ring is broken and wants $716 for this repair which I cannot afford. In the meantime I have disabled the ABS by removing the 12A ABS fuse. Any assistance with his repair is appreciated.
