How can I disable the DRL on a 2002 Escape?

What will you do with the DRL unit when you disable it? My 2004 does not have DRL and I badly need one.

2002 escape,DRL blinking ,I had to remove the 2nd Drl fuse under hood marked DRL 15 -amp HLEV 15 amp. just removing the drl fuse didn't work, total 2-15amp fuses
