Default 05 escape guage cluster short
Hello, I have an 05 Escape 2.3l. recently i have noticed that while driving the guage lights (check eng, bat, abs, brake, etc...) all come on and the tac, fuel guage and speedometer all drop to zero. There seems to be no particular time for this and it will often flash on and off several times during a trip. Im guessing it is a short somewhere....Can anyone give me an idea of where to start looking?

If I had to guess, I'd suspect ignition switch. See if you can reproduce your failures by wiggling Ign Sw.
