Hi, I have 2001 Escape with a manual transmission that stutters/skips when I have the throttle pressed all the way and the car is at low RPMS(below 2.5k). If I downshift the stutter goes away.
Any ideas why this could be happening? The check engine light started flashing for a couple seconds and then turned off when I was making the car stutter to get an idea of what was happening.
