Ford EscapeThe Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.
I own a 2008 Escape with tan fabric seats. Everyone with the stain problem regardless of black or tan seats, do not waste your time in cleaning the stains. It is simply a fabric defect. The fabric was not technically treated properly for the prevention of stains. The stains will forever return. Ford and the supplier True Textiles Inc in Michigan USA are very familiar with the defective 100% recycled seats but (as all corps facing a BIG problem) refuse to acknowledge it publicly. Everyone should pressure Ford to come clean and change all the defective seat material. After all, Ford should not have a problem collecting their losses from their supplier. Apparently Ford is working on a fix. Nothing will fix the problem except to change the fabric. I am awating to hear more results, violins or change the seats.
