2001 knocking noise

Hi everyone, I have read threw the forum a few times trying to find an answer to a knocking noise I am hearing. I only hear it when I take off at a reasonably slow speed and when I slow down to a complete stop or when I make a right turn.
It sounds like it's coming from the right rear, I'm thinking cv joint, shock, boot.... and as you can tell I really have no idea. I just don't want to take it to the service station and get ripped off because I don't know. Any suggestion would be helpful.

I'm also hearing the same knocking noise on my '02 Escape. mainly when I make a right turn..

Havent been able to figure it out.. thought maybe because i bought the car used.
