My front passenger door will not open from inside or outside. The door lock will not fully lock or unlock either manually or using electric lock. The door appears to be locked, but cannot unlock. My plight is I need to remove the door panel to reach the latching mechanism in order to open the door, but cannot remove the door panel without opening the door first. Any one have any suggestion?
I have the exact same problem. Door won't open, locked shut. I had to take it to a body shop. They can open it, but salvage yards won't sell the latch/actuator without selling an entire door.
