2009 Ford escape fuel capacity

I notice that the fuel low warning light comes on when the mileage is "50 mi to E. The engine is the 2009 V6.

Do any of you have any experience or comment on how much fuel is actually left in the tank when the light goes on.

My situation is that we drive to to see grandchildren and have a 307 mile run to our favorate food and fuel stop. Am I going to make it on the Escape 2009 fuel tank capacity?

I think it would be a bit tense I am getting about 450 klm on a full tank(lead foot)and 307 miles is about 500 klm give or take.
Mine is 2009 FWD V6.

I guess it depends on what kind of driving you do on the trip, city and highway mix, or straight highway.

The low fuel warning does come on early though, even when your needle hits the Empty point, you still have a couple gallons of reserve in the tank. I wouldn't risk it but if you go into a bind you could stretch it for a bit.
