Ford Escape The Ford Escape has been thoroughly updated, reinforcing the character and appeal that have made it America's perennial best-selling small sport-utility vehicle. The improvements nearly cover the spectrum, and inject a new level of refinement. We'd call the Escape a little truck among small SUVs. Its new styling deliberately invokes Ford's larger, truck-based SUVs.

Default Compartment to hide things??? Newbie question

I am newbie and I am sorry if I am posting in the wrong section.

I just bought a 2005 Escape and was wondering if there are any "hidden" compartments anywhere throughout the car?

I have nothing to hide, but it would be cool if there was some where you could hide something. Thanks in advance!!!

The factory offered a cargo cover (looks kind of like a window shade) that would cover the rear compartment. Keep prying eyes out. Look on eBay.

In the rear cargo area on the passager side the '09 has a compartment for a funnel for the gas tank. The compartment is big enough for the jack. I think it's also an access point for the top rear shock.
