Need to change 2001 Escape left rear tail light to pass state safety inspection. Have removed the two visible phillips screws, but cannot seem to get the tail light lens off. Is there a trick to getting it off? Is there another screw I am not finding or another part that must be removed first?
Found the answer. Just remove the 2 screws and pull the lens cover firmly toward the back. There are 2 rods that are held in by tension clips that are holding it in.
